We feel it’s time for us to respond boldly to the grave racial injustices in our community. We’ve decided to commit the funds of the entire joint family foundation (The Zarrow Families Foundation) to this cause. The Zarrow Families Foundation will now conduct its grantmaking through The Commemoration Fund, to honor the memory of the victims of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. This new effort will be dedicated to and overseen exclusively by people of color.

Letter from Trustees

Giving back to the community is a commitment that founders and brothers Henry and Jack Zarrow made over their lifetimes. Based on that commitment, The Anne & Henry Zarrow Foundation, the Maxine & Jack Zarrow Family Foundation, and The Zarrow Families Foundation were incorporated in the 1980s. The geographical focus for giving is the Tulsa, Oklahoma area, and in the state of Israel.
